NOTE: The Census Bureau has reissued the CPS All Files disc (C2-C03-ALLF-02-US1) with corrected data. Customers who purchased this disc before November 25, 2003 are asked to return the file for a replacement. Others who are using the file should check to be sure they are using the corrected file. There was a data processing error in the creation of occupation codes for "one's main job last year." The error affected 113 person records. The variable "PEIOOCC" ("person's edited industry and occupation code") had values that were not listed in the documented list of occupation codes (Appendix B); therefore, they could not be associated with any occupation. The replacement product has correct codes for these 113 records.

March Annual Demographic Files

CD-ROMS providing supplemental data on work experience, income, noncash benefits, migration, employment status, occupation, and industry of persons 15 years old and older in addition to monthly labor force data,. Also weeks worked and hours per week worked, reason not working full time, total income and income components, and residence on March 1 of year of survey. Data on employment and income refer to the preceding year, although demographic data refer to the time of the survey.

Also contains data covering nine noncash income sources: food stamps, school lunch program, employer-provided group health insurance plan, employer-provided pension plan, personal health insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, CHAMPUS or military health care, and energy assistance.

Characteristics such as age, sex, race, household relationship, and Hispanic origin are shown for each person in the household enumerated.
