Over 100 percent of Rhode Island’s population increase is directly attributable to the Hispanic population. Were it not for this increase, Rhode Island would have lost population.
Most of the increase in population for North Dakota and Connecticut was due to Hispanic growth, accounting for over 90 percent.
Nearly 80 percent of California’s population growth was Hispanic.
