Given the way race data were collected in Census 2000, you may be wondering, “How can I compare 1990 and 2000 race data?”
Remember that direct comparisons in racial categories from 1990 to 2000 CANNOT be made.
The individual data user must decide whether to use a single race alone figure or the race alone or in combination number.
