Installation:

Insert the SF1 DVD into your DVD drive.

The install control panel should start automatically, and will install the SF1 software. After installing the software, the software will note that it has detected a dataset. You will be given the option of "Full install" or "Run from disk." "Full install" takes about 11 megabytes of space on your hard drive and can be a lengthy process. However, if you will be using these data frequently the full install is worth the time as the response time of the "full install" is markedly better than the "Run from disk."

Use the instructions below if the install control panel feature does not start automatically.

Go to: Start, then pick Run	Click on Browse (make sure this is your DVD drive)	and pick setup.exe under the SF1_DVD(drive letter:)
Follow the on-screen directions to complete your installation.

When the SF1 database has been installed, click the LAUNCH button on the DVD control panel or the SF1 icon located on your desk top to start the application.
