HONOLULU -- JUNE 29, 2006

Bringing Data to Life: Spotlight on Hawaii Emergency Disaster Planning and Recovery. The U.S. Census Bureau held a community forum with the Hawaii State Department of Health to explore how census data can be used in emergency planning, preparedness and recovery in the event of a natural disaster. This is the third in a series of discussions around the nation about emergency preparedness by the Census Bureau.
