NEW YORK -- DECEMBER 8, 2005

Bringing Data to Life: The U.S. Census Bureau today held the first in a series of discussions to be held around the nation about emergency preparedness with officials at the New York City Office of Emergency Management. More than 35 community and nonprofit organizations attended the forum to explore how to better use census data in emergency planning, preparedness and recovery.
