Press Release Number CB17-TPS.20

MARCH 15, 2017 — The U.S. Census Bureau released statistics from the first wave of the 2014 Survey of Income and Program Participation. This is the Census Bureau's premier survey for measuring the dynamics of income, employment, health insurance and participation in government transfer programs. Accompanying the release are six research briefs that illustrate important demographic, fertility, program and wealth measures.

Wave 1 briefs:

The Census Bureau will release additional briefs highlighting other relevant topics from the first wave over the coming months. Briefs from the second wave of the survey are tentatively scheduled for late September.
