What:
The U.S. Census Bureau ― along with Lockheed Martin, the lead contractor ― will open a 2010 Census call center in Sandy, Utah, bringing about 1,500 new jobs to the Salt Lake City area. The call center is one of 11 national facilities to serve as a 2010 Census information resource/hotline for U.S. residents.
This will be the only opportunity to tour/photograph the facility. Media access will be restricted after the Jan. 13 grand opening event because of Title 13 confidentiality laws.
When:
Wednesday, Jan. 13, 11 a.m. (MST). Registration begins at 10 a.m.

Turn right (West) at 9000 South/UT-209 W
Take the first right (North) onto Sandy Parkway (450 West)
Call Center will be on the right, about ½ mile.
Attendants will direct traffic to the parking area. Please register inside.
