The U.S. Census Bureau will hold a technical webinar to provide the media with a look ahead at multiple population estimates releases scheduled for the upcoming year. These are the first set of annual population estimates to be published since the official 2010 Census state population counts were released a year ago. The webinar focuses on the methodology and the uses of population estimates, as well as the schedule of releases during 2012.
The news conference will consist of a simultaneous audio conference and online presentation. Information on accessing the online presentation is provided below. Reporters will be able to ask questions once the presentation is complete. We suggest reporters log in and call in early.
