Odis Johnson, Jr. is an Assistant Professor in African American Studies, and Faculty Associate at the Maryland Population Research Center at the University of Maryland. Dr. Johnson's areas of expertise include social policy, urban neighborhoods and the educational development of African American youths. His research appears in the nation's leading scientific journals, including the Review of Educational Research and the Urban Review.
