The U.S. Census Bureau will hold an audio news conference to release new details about American Indian- and Alaska native-owned businesses. Nationwide, there were more than 200,000 American Indian- and Alaska native-owned businesses with receipts totaling $26.9 billion.

Information on American Indian- and Alaska native-owned businesses is being released for selected counties, metro areas and cities; it also includes the number of firms, sales and receipts, and firms with paid employees by type of business. Reporters are invited to participate by telephone.
