"Kindergarten in America," Live on the C-SPAN's "America by the Numbers" Segment of "Washington Journal"

This year's federal report on America's children includes a special feature on the kindergarten year, described as pivotal for their development. Find out more on July 12 at approximately 9:15 a.m. EDT as Chris Chapman, a branch chief in the National Center for Education Statistics' Institute of Education Sciences, discusses statistics about how children are doing in kindergarten. Each Friday, C-SPAN's "America by the Numbers" segment features information from the federal statistical system.
