Douglas E. DeVore II

Douglas E. DeVore II is Data Center Coordinator for the Utah State Data Center in the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget. He is the Governor’s Liaison to the Census Bureau and is a Research Analyst in the Demographic and Economic Analysis Section.
Mr. DeVore manages and represented the work of the State Data Center and SDC staff by overseeing the Utah Data Guide newsletter, planning DEA data workshops. He organizes and disseminates Census Bureau data products through the SDC affiliate network, and he has represented Utah at national Census Bureau meetings. In addition, he was project manager of the 2007 Economic Report to the Governor, an annual publication of the Demographic and Economic Analysis Section.
Mr. DeVore has worked in GOPB since 2006. Prior to joining GOPB, he worked as Legislative Assistant to Governor Huntsman. He also worked for the Utah Attorney General’s Office.
Mr. DeVore is a licensed attorney and is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Utah. He is a member of the Utah State Bar and the American Bar Association. Mr. DeVore was recently accepted by the United States Air Force for direct commission to the Judge Advocate General’s Corps and will enter active duty this summer.
Mr. DeVore received a J.D. from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah and a B.A. in Political Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He is a native of Salt Lake City.
