Jay Keller

Assistant to the Associate Director for Communications

Jay K. Keller is the U.S. Census Bureau’s assistant to the associate director for communications, providing the administrative management of the directorate’s five offices.

Keller has served in many roles at the Census Bureau, including designer and manager of the decennial census budget and cost modeling program, chief of long-range planning for the 2010 Census, acting chief of the National Processing Center in Jeffersonville, Ind., and chief of international relations.

He authored the publication Statistical Programs of the Federal Government while at the Office of Management and Budget, and has written numerous other articles and publications.

Keller holds a master’s degree in public management and policy analysis from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s degree from Florida State. He also holds master’s and doctorate degrees from Northwestern University.
