Income, Poverty and Health Insurance Coverage Online news conference, thursday, september 10, 2009, 10 am edt

Note: REVISION

The Census Bureau has issued two revisions to data released on Sept. 10, 2009 (see below). These changes affect the news release, the statistical report and the remarks of David Johnson, which have been revised to reflect these corrections. They also affect the income sound bites which have been removed from the site.

  • The female-to-male earnings ratio showed a statistically significant decline from .78 in 2007 to .77 in 2008.
  • There is no statistically significant change between 2007 and 2008 in the percentage of uninsured Asians.
