DataFerrett and FTP Sites

• DataFerrett allows you to create your own tables or extracts of public use surveys. Note: In order to use Ferret, you need to know which survey you want and which variables to use.

CPS Table Creator

• This custom table creator can be used to generate statistics about the population with a work disability from the CPS ASEC.
• The following inputs can be entered to replicate the CPS Work Disability Table #3:
  • Under “Data Options”, Select “Adult Civilian Workers”
  • Under “Define Your Table”, select “Age” as the first row category, and “Educational Attainment” as the second row category. Select “Work Disability” as the first column category, and “Work Experience” as the second column category.
  • Under “Statistics”, select “Person Earnings” as the additional numeric variable statistics variable.
  • Under “Customized Formatting”, use a pre-defined set of age ranges, or customize your own.
