Description of Table 1. This table provides a summary for the United States of the data that are included in the Redistricting Data Summary File for states. Data are shown for the population indicating one race and for the population indicating two or more races. The population of one race is the total of the population in the 6 categories of one race. The population of two or more races is the total of the population in the 57 specific combinations of two or more races. The redistricting files for states include data for all 63 groups. This table summarizes data from the four detailed tables in the redistricting files for states. Table 1.
