2010 Census Special Tabulation Program

Other Sources of Data and Assistance

Special tabulations are available from a wide variety of Census Bureau programs such as the American Community Survey and the Economic Censuses. For special tabulations from the Current Population Survey, the Survey of Income and Program Participation, and the American Housing Survey, contact Hung Pham at hung.xuan.pham@census.gov.  Call our Customer Services Office at 1-800-923-8282 or visit http://www.census.gov/foia/foia_library/custom_tabulations.html for information on special tabulations from other programs.

For data at the United States level from the Current Population Survey, try using the CPS Table Creator

In addition to special tabulations produced from internal confidential Census Bureau microdata files, custom extracts from publicly available data products, such as the 2010 Census Summary File 1, also are available through American FactFinder.  We encourage data users to create their own extracts using this tool. If you need assistance using American FactFinder to extract data, please call our Customer Services Center at 1-800-923-8282. However, the Census Bureau can create 2010 Census custom data extracts from these publicly available files on a cost-reimbursable basis as time and resources permit. Requests for custom extracts may be submitted to the e-mail address pop.decennial.census.special.tabulations@census.gov.

You may also use DataFerrett to extract data and recode variables from a variety of Census Bureau datasets.  For assistance with DataFerrett, call 866-437-0171.

The State Data Center and the Census Information Center programs, as well as the Census Bureau regional offices, also provide assistance with 2010 Census data.
