November 1996 Voting and Registration Tables for States

Note:
Most of the tables in the "Detailed tables" section show voting and registration data for various socioeconomic groups for the total civilian noninstitutional population of the United States, including noncitizens. Data in Tables 4A and 4B are provided to remove the noncitizen population from statistical computation to permit the calculation of voting rates on a "citizen only" population base. Table 4C already reports voting among citizens. All of the numbers shown in these tables are in thousands.
