ADVISORY DOWN-SELECT NOTIFICATION
The Census Bureau has completed Step 1 of the "advisory multi-step" process for the Field Data Collection Automation (FDCA) acquisition. This phase involved evaluation of the documentation submitted by Prime Systems Integrators (PSIs) in response to the April 22, 2005 Pre-Solicitation Notice found HERE. The Census Bureau accomplished this evaluation through the establishment of a Technical Evaluation Team, which conducted a thorough assessment of the PSIs' viability based on the following evaluation factors:
- Similar experience,
- Past performance, and
- High-level understanding of the challenges presented by the FDCA project.
In accordance with FAR 15.202(b), the five companies listed below have been invited to continue to Step 2 of the "advisory multi-step" process for the FDCA Acquisition. Other companies that were "down-selected" have been advised that, notwithstanding the advice provided by the Government in response to their submissions, they may participate in the resultant acquisition as prime or subcontractors.
