Description of services:

0001 - The U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), administered by the U.S. Census Bureau intends to negotiate on an Other Than Full and Open basis with Verizon who will provide cable wiring services. The period of performance will be from September 24, 2013 through December 31, 2013. The details of these services are provided in the attached Performance Work Statement titled "Verizon-Secure Internet Cabling".

Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet BEA’s needs. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The requirement will be awarded by Government Purchase Order. Written response in the form of a quote or proposal must be submitted to Tanisha Contee via email at tanisha.l.contee@census.gov of the U.S. Census Bureau, Acquisition Division, 4600 Silver Hill Road, Room #3J444B, Washington, DC 20233. All questions should be directed to Ms. Contee via email 48 hours prior to the closing date and time of this synopsis.
