Provides basic 1992 economic Census data on businesses owned by women. The data are based on the whole firm rather than on the establishments of the firm. Data are presented by kind of business, geographic area, size of firm (employment and receipts), and legal form of organization (individual proprietorships, partnerships, and primarily subchapter S corportations). Also shown are the number of firms, gross receipts, number of employees, and annual payroll for firms with paid employees.
