Census Postcards: "People & Places"

A synthesis of photography, demography and geography, the following 11 postcards represent the first in a series of photographs that document some of the people and places of Census 2000. The photos typify the kinds of people who made up the U.S. population of 281,421,906, counted in Census 2000.

These postcards are downloadable digital computer files. You are welcome to use them in newsletters, brochures and other publications.

The images you see below were honored by The Communicator Awards, a national awards organization that recognizes outstanding work in the communications field. If you use them, please credit our documentary photographer, Paul Corbit Brown. Thank you.
