National Processing Center
Much of the survey information collected by the Census Bureau is processed at the Bureau's National Processing Center in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This center also will be one of three processing the information to be collected in the 2010 census.
Description: Surveys processed by the National Processing Center include the American Community Survey, Annual Survey of Manufacturing, National Immunization Study, and the Building Permits, Starts and Completions Survey.

Interviewers also make hundreds of thousands of outgoing calls each month to contact those who have not responded to surveys or to clarify information received from survey respondents.
