Welcome to the Philadelphia Regional Office Newsletter. This newletter is dedicated to the many partners we worked with during Census 2000. We look forward to a productive and exciting continuous relationship. View our newsletters for uptodate information concerning our outreach efforts.


Partnership and Data Services

Reference Center
Open to the public, our reference center provides easy access to over 10,000 Census Bureau reports and maps. Compact disc-read only memory (CD-ROM) is accessible through a public computer user station located in the Reference Center. Use of the computer and downloading of data is available at no charge by appointment from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. eastern time, Monday through Friday.

Assistance
Our Partnership and Data Services staff is trained to provide assistance to users of Census Bureau data, by telephone at (215) 717-1820, by e-mail to phro.pds@census.gov, or while using the reference center. Help in locating, understanding and using Census Bureau products is also available.

Education
Partnership and Data Services Specialists participate, upon request, in seminars, workshops, and conferences on census and survey-related topics. Our staff is also available to deliver presentations on census-related topics at local meetings, and exhibit Census Bureau products at national, regional, state, and local conferences and conventions. Customized data user training on Census Bureau products and their uses is also available.
