1996 Panel SIPP Wave 4 Taxes Topical Module User Note

Statement of Problem:

There were several amounts variables in the 1996 Panel SIPP Wave 4 Taxes topical module that needed revision because confidentiality procedures for these fields were incorrectly applied.


Resolution of Problem:

The 1996 Panel SIPP Wave 4 Topical Module file has been reissued on FERRET. The affected variables may be extracted from FERRET or a corrected version of the full file may be downloaded from the FERRET FTP site. There is no plan to reissue an updated CD through the Administrative and Customer Services Division (ACSD) at this time. The following variables were revised:
