of the Census Calendar Application
Lawrence Malakhoff
KEY WORDS: accessibility, Census calendar, Internet, usability
ABSTRACT
Members of the public and Census Bureau employees use the Census calendar Internet application to get information on presentations, meetings, and exhibits. In order for all users to have access to this information, the application is required to conform to Federal accessibility regulations. This evaluation was performed in December 2006 and uses screen shots to illustrate how compliance with Federal regulations can be accomplished, and includes recommendations to improve the usability of the interface.
