PC (Windows®) Version
This page contains links to files associated with Version 0.3 of the Final X-12-ARIMA seasonal adjustment program for Windows® PC computers.
The most recent release of this program is Build 192.
This program can be run in a command window or through our Windows interface. Win X-12 is available for downloading on this website.
This version of X-12-ARIMA can run on all versions of Windows later than Windows 95 and up to Windows 7.
Installation instructions are also available on this page.
Note that the X-12-ARIMA software is distributed using ZIP compressed files.
A separate utility that can extract ZIP files is required if your operating system
(versions of Windows® before Windows 2000) does not provide one,
such as the
ZIP Reader from PKWARE® 
Combined X-12-ARIMA archives
omegav03all.zip
Contains a subdirectory named x12a with the following contents:
- programs x12a.exe (the X-12-ARIMA executable), cnvout2html.exe (which converts X-12-ARIMA output files into accessible HTML), and cnvout2xhtml.exe (which converts X-12-ARIMA output files into accessible XHTML),
- a sample input file named testairline.spc,
- the Reference Manual, PC Quick Reference, and documentation for the output conversion utilities in a subdirectory named docs,
- and two Icon programs to assist users of X-12-ARIMA in a subdirectory named tools: genhol.exe (which generates user-defined regressors for moving holidays) and x12diag03.exe (which produces a summary of the seasonal adjustment diagnostics produced by X-12-ARIMA), along with their documentation.

Installation Instructions
- Copy the zip file omegav03all.zip (or omegav03.zip, if you only want the program) to the drive where you want to install X-12-ARIMA.
- Uncompress the file - the program will be stored within the x12a subdirectory.
To install the Icon programs,
- copy the zip file itoolsv03.zip into the same folder as the omegav03.zip file.
- Uncompress the file - the utilities will be stored within the tools subdirectory.
