This page contains links to files associated with Version 0.3 of the Final X-12-ARIMA seasonal adjustment program for Linux or Unix workstations.

Contains a subdirectory named x12a with the following contents:

  • programs x12a (the X-12-ARIMA executable), cnvout2html (which converts X-12-ARIMA output files into accessible HTML), and cnvout2xhtml (which converts X-12-ARIMA output files into accessible XHTML),
  • sample input file named testairline.spc,
  • the Reference Manual, Unix/Linux Quick Reference, and documentation for the output conversion utilities in a subdirectory named docs, and
  • two Icon programs to assist users of X-12-ARIMA in a subdirectory named tools: genhol (which generates user-defined regressors for moving holidays) and x12diag03 (which produces a summary of the seasonal adjustment diagnostics produced by X-12-ARIMA), along with their documentation.

Installation instructions

  • Download one of the compressed archives (such as omegav03all.tar.gz).
  • Expand the contents of the file using the tar utility, using the following command:
    tar -xzvf omegav03all.tar.gz

Note that the executable that is stored in the distribution file was compiled on a Linux system - it may not run on your machine. If this is the case, download the omegasrcv03.tar.gz file, uncompress the source code and compile it - you will need a Fortran compiler on your Unix/Linux system.
