This page contains links to files associated with the X-13ARIMA-SEATS seasonal adjustment program for Windows^® PC computers.

The most recent release of this program is Version 1.0, Build 150.

This program can be run in a command window or through our Windows interface. Win X-13 is available for downloading on this website.

This version of X-13ARIMA-SEATS can run on all versions of Windows later than Windows 95 and up to Windows 7.

Installation instructions are also available on this page.

Note that the X-13ARIMA-SEATS software is distributed using ZIP compressed files. A separate utility that can extract ZIP files is required if your operating system (versions of Windows^® before Windows 2000) does not provide one, such as the ZIP Reader from PKWARE^® Link to a non-federal Web site

Contains a subdirectory named x13as with the following contents:

programs x13as.exe (the X-13ARIMA-SEATS executable),
a sample input file named testairline.spc,
the Reference Manual and PC Quick Reference in a subdirectory named docs,
and two Icon programs to assist users of X-13ARIMA-SEATS in a subdirectory named tools: genhol.exe (which generates user-defined regressors for moving holidays) and cnvx13as.exe (which converts spec files used with X-12-ARIMA to files that can be used with X-13ARIMA-SEATS), along with their documentation.

Installation Instructions

Copy the zip file x13asall.zip (or x13as.zip, if you only want the program) to the drive where you want to install X-13ARIMA-SEATS.
Uncompress the file - the program will be stored within the x13as subdirectory.

To install the Icon programs,

copy the zip file toolsX13.zip into the same folder as the X-13ARIMA-SEATS program file.
Uncompress the file - the utilities will be stored within the tools subdirectory.
