PROMOTION POTENTIAL: The full promotion potential for this position is to the Grade 6.

DUTY LOCATION: Applicants selected for this position will have their home as their Duty Station and will be required to travel throughout their Field Supervisory Area (FSA) on a routine basis. See Area of Consideration for detailed information on the FSA.

AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Applications will be accepted from all sources within the following geographic area(s): Comprised of the following counties and cities in Virginia (51) Arlington (51013), Alexandria City (51510), Falls Church City (51610) and portions of Fairfax County (51059) and Washington DC (11001) as described below: In Washington DC Beginning where Connecticut Ave NW enters the District FSA 7853 is West of Connecticut Ave until it reaches Woodley Rd. The FSA boundary goes west on Woodley Rd to 29th St where it turns south. The boundary goes south on 29th St until it meets Calvert St at which point it goes East to the Rock Creek Pkwy. The FSA boundary follows the Rock Creek to where it meets the Potomac River. All areas West of Rock Creek Park are in FSA 7853. The following areas of Fairfax County (51059) are included in FSA 7853: All areas inside the Beltway (east) from the Potomac River at Cabin John south to I-66 are in FSA 7853. The boundary follows I-66 west from the beltway and Blake Lane. The Boundary continues south on Blake Lane to the Fairfax City Boundary. Fairfax City is NOT in FSA 7853.  The FSA Boundary follows the Fairfax City Boundary to the Little River Turnpike (US 29).  The boundary goes East on US 29 to Olley Lane.  The boundary goes South on Olley Lane with all areas east of Olley Lane within FSA 7853. Where Olley Lane meets Long Branch the boundary follows the water feature to Guinea Rd (Rt 651)  The FSA is east of Guinea Rd. from Long Branch Stream to Braddock Rd. (620), north of Braddock Rd. from Guinea Rd. to Rolling Rd. (638), north/east of Rolling Rd. from Braddock Rd. to the Springfield District (5105995847) boundary. The area of Springfield District (5105995847) north/east of Rolling Rd. from the Braddock District boundary to the Mount Vernon District boundary. The area of Mount Vernon District (5105994783) east of Fairfax County Parkway from the Springfield District boundary to Rolling Rd., east of Rolling Rd. (638) from Fairfax County Parkway to I-95, and east of I-95 from Rolling Rd. (638) to the Prince William County Border. Comprised of the following counties and cities in Virginia (51) Arlington (51013), Alexandria City (51510).
