  • Lead the development of the requirements, principles and models for the future-state Bureau of Census (BOC) Enterprise Architecture (EA), as well as the documentation of the current-state, future and transition enterprise architecture
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in driving organizational change using an EA process as defined by the OMB Federal Segment Architecture Methodology (FSMA)
  • Conduct EA briefings to all levels of management to communicate the business outcome of an EA
  • Identify gaps between the future-state and current-state information architecture and work with agencies in and outside the Census Bureau within enterprise architectures and data owners to develop plans for moving toward the future-state
  • Ensure that the quality, security, stability and agility of the EA meet evolving business needs by coordinating with other external, DOC and BOC information
  • Ensure EA is properly scoped on enterprise information – those information assets that are deemed enterprise-significant as determined by business impact, decision impact, risk mitigation impact or organizational impact
  • Monitor regulatory guidelines (such as privacy requirements), compliance-related guidance (such as data retention and audit requirements) and emerging industry standards to determine their impact on EA
