The Household Pulse Survey is designed to deploy quickly and efficiently,
collecting data on a range of ways in which people’s lives have been impacted by the pandemic.
Data will be disseminated in near real-time to inform federal and state response and recovery
planning.
Notes:
- Please see the Household Pulse Survey Technical Documentation webpage for background information on the Household Pulse Survey, Source and Accuracy statements, and User Notes.
- "--" in the table cells indicate that an estimate for the area is not available for the selected week.
- Percentages are based on reporting distributions and do not include the populations that did not report to specific items.
- A margin of error is a measure of an estimate's variability. This number, when added to and subtracted from the estimate, forms the 90-percent confidence interval.
- Although previous phases of the survey collected and disseminated data every two weeks, beginning in Phase 3.3 the survey shifted to a two-weeks on, two-weeks off collection schedule. Phase 3.10 continues with this approach.
- Phase 1 of the Household Pulse Survey was collected and disseminated on a weekly basis while later phases of the survey have had two-week collection and dissemination periods. The survey continues to call these collection periods 'weeks' to maintain continuity with Phase 1.
