This explorer is an overview of the 2030 Census Operational Plan Baseline 1. This first version of the plan documents the high-level design for the next census. Future iterations will describe the work in more detail, including the final operations for the 2030 Census. Each box below represents an operational area and includes information about specific activities.

    A grouping of work that, when completed, achieves a defined outcome needed to conduct and support the 2030 Census. There are seven concept areas describing the full scope of work for the 2030 Census.
  • Operational Area
    A subset of the work within a concept area.

    Work that covers a specific part of the scope of an operational area.
