Below are the data released in the 2012 Economic Census for Mining

This series provided detailed industry statistics by geographic area for establishments of firms with paid employees. Data are shown on the 2012 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) basis. These data superseded the data shown in the Industry Series, and may have been replaced by data shown in later publication series for selected sectors.

Data is downloadable in the following options:

• All Geographies

All downloads are ZIP files that includes data and metadata files. The State downloads will include data at the U.S. and State levels.   The All Geographies link goes to the economic census ftp site, where all available tables for sector 51 are available.

• EC1251A2 – Information: Geographic Area Series: Comparative Statistics for the U.S. (2007 NAICS Basis): 2012 and 2007

This series includes summary data by industry and other special topics. These data summarized and superseded the information released in the Industry and/or Geographic Area Series. Content for these series are grouped together by topical reports.

Data for these topics are primarily available at the U.S. level, but for selected topics, at the state level. Topics covered by each sector will vary.
