Authority for the collection and maintenance of your personal information is provided under 5 U.S.C. 301, 44 U.S.C. 3101, and 5 U.S.C. 4103.

The purpose of collecting this information is to register participants for the FEDCASIC Workshop via a user registration form, to provide workshop updates, to provide input to attendee reports and lists, and to verify access to the U.S. Census Bureau headquarters and conference center. The user registration form collects information such as name, organization, telephone number, and email address.

Disclosure of this information is permitted under the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. Section 552a) for the purposes identified and with other Census Bureau staff for work-related purposes. Disclosure of this information is also subject to the published routine uses as identified in the Privacy Act System of Record Notice(s) COMMERCE/DEPT-23, Information Collected Electronically in Connection with Department of Commerce Activities, Events, and Programs.

The personal information submitted by the user is voluntary. Failure to provide this information may affect the Census Bureau's ability to register you for the FEDCASIC workshop.
