History Staff

The U.S. Census Bureau's history staff serves as the institutional memory for the agency. The history staff researches and prepares histories of the decennial and economic censuses and the American Community Survey, and maintains the Census Bureau's History Website. It researches and documents issues of continuing concern to the agency and serves as a ready resource for questions from Census Bureau personnel and the public.
