This report presents projections of the population of the United States by age, sex, and color at 5-year time intervals to 1990, and projections of total population for the subse­quent period to 2015. Principal results and a brief description of the method and assumptions are given below. The complete results, accom­panied by a detailed description of the method and assumptions, will be published in the later report.
