Super Bowl 53 will be played Feb. 3, 2019, at the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium located in downtown Atlanta. The first Super Bowl, played on Jan. 15, 1967, at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, saw the Green Bay Packers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 35-10. This will be the third time the NFL’s championship game will be held in Atlanta. The city hosted Super Bowl XXVIII in 1994 and Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000.

The U.S. Census Bureau has compiled a collection of demographic and economic statistics examining the host metro area and the metro areas represented by the two participating teams, the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams.

Note: The graphic above shows stats from American FactFinder Table CB1600A11 for these three NAICS codes: 31191 Snack food manufacturing, 31212 Breweries and 45111 Sporting goods stores; and for the four geographies listed.
