2010 Census Participant Programs

The programs listed below helped us prepare for a successful 2010 Census. These programs were used to help ensure our address lists were up to date in order to ensure complete coverage of all housing units and to help define statistical geographic boundaries to provide meaningful data from the 2010 Census.

Overview of the 2010 LUCA Program

LUCA, was a decennial census geographic partnership program that allowed the Census Bureau to benefit from local knowledge in developing MAF/TIGER Database.

Overview of the 2010 Census New Construction Program

New housing units that were under construction leading up to the 2010 Census were captured in the MAF/TIGER Database (MTDB) and would receive a census form.

Overview of the 2010 Census PSAP Program

A program that allowed participants to review or suggest changes to the boundaries for block groups, tracts, county divisions, and designated places.

Overview of the 2010 Census Tribal Statistical Areas Program (TSAP)

TSAP was a decennial geographic program that provided tribes an opportunity to identify and delineate geographic statistical areas and block boundaries.
