The U.S. Census Bureau - along with Lockheed Martin, the lead contractor - will open a 2010 Census data capture center and a call center in Phoenix. These facilities bring thousands of new jobs to the Phoenix area. The data capture center is one of only three facilities in the nation to process 2010 Census questionnaires ― the other two are in Baltimore and Jeffersonville, Ind. The call center is one of only 11 facilities to serve as an information resource/hotline for U.S. residents

Media access will be restricted after the grand opening event because of Title 13 confidentiality restrictions. This will be the only opportunity to tour/photograph the facility.

Attendants will direct traffic to parking area. Please register at the media table inside the facility.
