Scott Boggess
Chief, American Community Survey Coordination Staff
Scott Boggess is the Chief of the American Community Survey (ACS) Coordination Staff in the Social, Economic, and Housing Statistics Division. The primary responsibility of the Coordination Staff is to oversee the editing, review, and tabulation of the ACS data. Dr. Boggess started his Census career in the Education and Social Stratification Branch where he was the lead ACS analyst for education and language. Prior to Census he worked as an Assistant Professor of Demography at Georgetown University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
