After-Tax Profits and Sales, Second Quarter 2026 – Seasonally Adjusted Manufacturing Corporations
U.S. manufacturing corporations' seasonally adjusted after-tax profits in the second quarter of 2026 totaled $359.4 billion, up $64.1 (±1.2) billion from the after-tax profits of $295.2 billion recorded in the first quarter of 2026, and up $143.8 (±2.8) billion from the after-tax profits of $215.6 billion recorded in the second quarter of 2025.
Seasonally adjusted sales for the quarter totaled $2,324.1 billion, up $194.0 (±9.6) billion from the $2,130.1 billion recorded in the first quarter of 2026, and up $343.7 (±26.2) billion from the $1,980.3 billion recorded in the second quarter of 2025.
