After-Tax Profits and Sales, Third Quarter 2025 – Seasonally Adjusted Manufacturing Corporations
U.S. manufacturing corporations' seasonally adjusted after-tax profits in the third quarter of 2025 totaled $249.2 billion, up $28.0 (±3.2) billion from the after-tax profits of $221.2 billion recorded in the second quarter of 2025, and up $73.1 (±5.6) billion from the after-tax profits of $176.1 billion recorded in the third quarter of 2024.
Seasonally adjusted sales for the quarter totaled $2,027.5 billion, up $43.1 (±39.4) billion from the $1,984.4 billion recorded in the second quarter of 2025, and up $125.3 (±62.6) billion from the $1,902.1 billion recorded in the third quarter of 2024.
