After-Tax Profits and Sales, Second Quarter 2025 – Seasonally Adjusted
Seasonally adjusted after-tax profits of U.S. retail corporations with assets of $50 million and over totaled $59.8 billion, up $13.7 (±0.4) billion from the $46.1 billion recorded in the first quarter of 2025, and up $9.7 (±0.5) billion from the $50.1 billion recorded in the second quarter of 2024.
Seasonally adjusted sales for the quarter totaled $1,072.5 billion, up $7.0 (±2.8) billion from the $1,065.6 billion recorded in the first quarter of 2025, and up $50.0 (±15.0) billion from the $1,022.5 billion recorded in the second quarter of 2024.
