    Announcements

    Special Notice - Effective with the March 2016 release, the Quarterly Services Survey (QSS) will include a new Selected Services Total estimate. The new total will be available on the QSS press release, Economic Briefing Room, America's Economy mobile app, and Time Series / Trend Charts tool. See our Selected Services Total FAQs or contact us for more information.

    Special Notice - Effective with the March 2016 release, quarterly services estimates will be revised based on the results of the 2014 Service Annual Survey and Annual Retail Trade Survey.

    Economic Indicator Webinar Series - To learn more about this release and the other indicators the U.S. Census Bureau publishes, join us for the Investigating Economic Indicators Webinar Series. For more information visit www.census.gov/econ/webinar.

    The U.S. Census Bureau updated its Application Programming Interface (API) with monthly and quarterly economic indicators, including the Quarterly Services Survey. The API allows developers to combine Census Bureau statistics with other data sets to create tools for research on a variety of topics.

    The Service Annual Survey (2014) will release their reports in January 2016.
