Learn about maximum file sizes that can be uploaded to the Digital Asset Manager (DAM) and recommended image dimensions for thumbnails.
Components that use larger images, such as Banner Hero CTA (Call-to-Action) and Headline Feature, should be a minimum of 1920 x 1080. The size of the image should still remain 2 MB or less when uploaded to the DAM.
All files in the DAM should be 2 MB or under. Files larger than 2 MB should be placed on FTP instead, where there is no file size limit.
Authors have the ability to link to images stored on FTP using the External Image component. Images added to pages with this component display in their original dimensions. There is no limit on height, but 600px is the recommended height if authors would like the entire image to show without visitors having to scroll on the page.
