The U.S. Census Bureau is updating its economic indicator release calendar in coordination with other agencies and the Office of Management and Budget to address the impacts of the recent lapse in federal funding. We will provide the updated release schedule as soon as it becomes available. For more information, see Census' Recovery Plan for Principal Federal Economic Indicators.

The September 2025 release, originally scheduled for October 24, 2025, and the October 2025 release, originally scheduled for November 26, 2025, for the New Residential Sales report have been rescheduled for release on January 13, 2026. Quarterly Sales

Quarterly estimates of sales by price and financing are released along with the release of New Residential Sales data for the last month of each quarter. For example, data for the first quarter are released with the March estimates of New Residential Sales. The previous quarter is revised with the release of preliminary data for the most recent quarter.

1/13/26 - The quarterly sales by price and financing tables will be updated with both 2025 Q3 and Q4 with the December 2025 New Residential Sales release.
