Hi Everyone!
First off, thanks for your interest in using the Census API. It's because of you that we will be able to move into the 'gov 2.0' we are all looking forward to.
As many of you know, this weekend we will be participating in the National Day of Civic Hacking. This will be the largest open government collaboration in history taking place in over 100 locations across the country with over 5000 participants expected. Check out our recent blog post about it and The American Community Challenge which invites you to create apps around local economic development or disaster relief problems.
You may have attended our earlier webinar in support of the challenge. At our developer hub, you can find the slides from that event along with some further information on how to quickly get up and running for the National Day event and where to go with questions during the weekend.
Haven’t found a local event yet? Find a location near you to roll up your sleeves and get involved!
