The Advance Economic Indicators Report provides advance statistics for U.S. International Trade in Goods, domestic retail inventories, and domestic wholesale inventories. The data for U.S. International Trade in Goods are compiled in terms of commodity classification, quantities, values, shipping weights, method of transportation (air or vessel), state of (movement) origin, customs district, customs port, country of destination, and whether contents are domestic goods or re-exports. For Monthly Wholesale Trade and Monthly Retail Trade, entities provide data on dollar values of merchant wholesale end-of-month inventories and retail end-of-month inventories respectively.

Special Notice - The Annual Retail Trade Survey (ARTS) and the Annual Wholesale Trade Survey (AWTS) have transitioned to the Annual Integrated Economic Survey (AIES). As a result of this transition and the associated changes to data processing and integration, the Annual Revision Reports for the Monthly Retail Trade Survey (MRTS) and the Monthly Wholesale Trade Survey (MWTS) will be delayed. Updated release schedules will be provided once they become available.
