The December 2025 release for Advance Report on Durable Goods Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories, and Orders, originally scheduled for January 28, 2026, has been rescheduled for release on February 18, 2026. The December 2025 release for Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories and Orders Full Report originally scheduled for February 4, 2026 has been rescheduled for release on February 23, 2026. Monthly Advance Report on Durable Goods Manufacturers' Shipments Inventories and Orders

New orders for manufactured durable goods in December, down two of the last three months, decreased $4.6 billion or 1.4 percent to $319.6 billion, the U.S. Census Bureau announced today. This followed a 5.4 percent November increase. Excluding transportation, new orders increased 0.9 percent. Excluding defense, new orders decreased 2.5 percent. Transportation equipment, also down two of the last three months, drove the decrease, $6.4 billion or 5.3 percent to $113.5 billion.
